At Wakaaro, we believe learning only creates real impact when people experience it themselves. That’s why we design serious games, learn through play and playful learning experiences that immediately turn theory into practice. But how do we do this in practice?

Our approach

Every project is unique and deserves its own path. Still, we often follow a structured process to achieve the best results:

  1. Challenge analysis: We start with the challenge and the content. What needs to be achieved? Who will use the solution? What knowledge or skills are central?

  2. Linking game elements: Based on the analysis, we select the most suitable mechanics and formats to reach the goal.

  3. Idea generation & concept development: This is where the game takes shape, always with focus on the learning objectives. Testing and iteration are key.

  4. Prototyping: Early prototypes allow us to test quickly with real users.

  5. Launch & follow-up: We finalize, implement, and keep monitoring the solution to adjust where needed.

Why this works

From our experience, once employees play, feel, and experience, a true aha-moment happens—something no traditional training can match. Learning becomes tangible, engaging, and effective.

This way, we help organizations build workplaces where employees are motivated, aware, and empowered. Explore some of our past projects for inspiration.
